London - The British think-tank Oxford Business Group (OBG), stressed, on Monday, the importance of the projects initiated by Morocco in all fields
The think-tank highlighted the projects implemented in the transport sector in order to improve, in terms of capacity and efficiency, road sea and air networks.
These projects include the expansion of Marrakech and Fez airport terminals and the addition of facilities in the Tangier Med port complex.
The railways have long been a reliable means of transportation in Morocco, OBG said in an analysis.
The construction of a "High-speed train" from Casablanca to Tangier began in June, noted the same source, adding that construction works will be completed in 2014 and that the commercial exploitation will start a year later.
Referring to a recent report by the World Bank, the Group said that the Bretton Woods institution has welcomed the significant progress made by Morocco in terms of simplifying trade procedures, which will probably be useful for potential investors, especially in the promising sector of transport.
