Rabat - Culture Minister Bensalem Himmich met, on Thursday in Rabat, with Hungarian Ambassador in Rabat Laszlo Pap on the holding of the International Conference of Oriental and Asian Studies slated in 2012 in Morocco The Hundagrian diplomat informed Himmich about arrangements under way so that Morocco hosts the 39th International Conference of Oriental and Asian Studies, a statement by the Culture Ministry said.
The event, which will be organized by the International Union for Oriental and Asian Studies, will take place either in Fez or Rabat in December 2012, it added.
The diplomat called for supporting Morocco to hold this major international event in which around 1,200 researchers and experts will take part, affirming that the organization of the Conference's 39th edition in Morocco testifies to the country's openness.
