Paris - The French authorities have categorically denied, on Friday, any intervention to put off or cancel the Rabat Mawazine Fest

Paris - The French authorities have categorically denied, on Friday, any intervention to put off or cancel the Rabat Mawazine Festival, as has claimed a London-based Arabic-speaking paper

"We categorically and formally deny such rumors," said the spokesman of the French Foreign Office, Bernard Valero, in response to a question about the possible involvement of Paris in this regard.

"Such a major artistic event will be, no doubt, a huge success," he added.

Valero also reaffirmed "France's full support for Morocco and its confidence in the ability of the people and authorities to carry out, in a spirit of responsibility, the reform process to which the country is committed."

Mawazine festival "Rhythms of the World" runs from May 20 to 28 in Rabat with the participation of a galaxy of world stars, including Yusuf Islam and Shakira.

People are getting a lot of news about batuolis, homeowners bailout, auto batuolis, insurance batuolis. So its natural to think that there would be a Government based credit card bailout program. Since, virtually everyone is in credit card debt!Currently, there is not a Government Credit Card Bailout for consumers.Yes, it is true that bankruptcy is one way to try and eliminate your unsecured debts, such as credit card debts. If you have no income and no reason to expect an increase in income in the future and or have assets like your home in danger of foreclosure, contact a LOCAL bankruptcy attorney.Credit counseling: they don't bail you out, but instead help stop the bleeding. They help reduce interest rates, late fees and other charges to help stop the debt from increasing. Credit counseling and Debt Mangement usually do NOT decrease your debt, and your monthly bill is about the same as it is now. There are other options though that are more like a credit card bailout.Right now credit card companies are in a very difficult situation. They are running out of money, and their customers are not paying their bills. This means they can't offer more credit and the whole system starts to collapse. The Administration is not offering help to consumers directly but they are offering help to companies like CitiGroup (citibank) and more. Credit card companies are getting a break from the Government in the form of higher allowances to right down defaulted loans on their taxes. This translates into these companies making offers to consumers to reduce their total debts significantly in order to have them pay it off and close the credit card. Creditors need cash and they also need to rid their books of consumers who can no longer pay their debts. If the consumer files bankruptcy, they will get nothing, but the consumer will trash their credit for life. If they reduce your debt low enough to entice you to accept the offer and pay it off, then they will at least recover a portion of the debt and you won't have to file bankruptcy. So thats the Credit Card Bailout so to speak.Anyone considering this should be aware of a couple important factors.Reducing your debt like this will have a severe negative impact on your credit. Not a bankruptcy, but still a negative mark.If you have under 10k in credit card debt, the benefits rarely outweigh the negative impact and risk. If you have over 30k it makes a ton of sense. You MUST have a financial hardship. Basically you have to prove you can't pay the debt in full. If you don't have a true, valid, and provable hardship or worse you lie about your hardship, you will have made a horrible decision. The creditor will not reduce your debts and you will have gone through a tough process for nothing. You need to have at least some income so you can pay off the debt in a reasonable amount of time.If you can in any way pay your bills the normal way, making monthly min payments and a little bit extra then that is what you need to do.You should NEVER intentionally go late on paying your credit card bills, or mortgage payment or any bill in order to get into a program. They could and likely will nail you; and that can be construed as Fraud. So to sum it up. Yes, check out bankruptcy especially if you have a home going info foreclosure. Or check out Government programs to save your home without bankruptcy. If it's only credit card debt check out a credit card bailout program. Be sure to check with the FTC, BBB and your state Attorney General (AG) before you use ANY company or service for financial help. And finally Hey, this is my view of things and you don't know me from squatt. Never take advice too seriously that you find online, especially financial advice its simply general information and this is not financial advice. Always go directly to your professional tax, legal or other professional for advice that isspecific to your situation.

Unfortunately some unethical icepanoms and agents are taking advantage of the fact that so many consumers are in serious financial trouble. Because of this, the term credit card debt consolidation is being abused, and is now being used to refer to both debt management and debt settlement. So, you must be sure of what you are getting into before you sign on the dotted line. Debt management should be considered if you are barely able to make the minimum payment on your credit card account. If you opt for debt management, your card issuer will close your account and reduce your fees and/or the APR. This will have a marginally negative impact on your credit. Debt settlement is a bit more risky. When you choose credit card debt settlement, you withhold payments from your credit card icepanoms, intentionally defaulting on your account. Doing this will destroy your credit score, but it’s done with the hope that, at some point your credit card issuers will be willing to settle for much less than what you currently owe them. Traditionally, credit card debt consolidation means acquiring one loan to pay off all of your other credit card debt. This is done for two reasons. First, this new loan will usually have an interest rate that is much lower than the interest rates on your existing credit card accounts. Secondly, once you consolidate your credit card debt, you only make one payment per month to your new lender, rather than multiple payments to a variety of different credit card issuers.
