The Kuwaiti minister voiced satisfaction with the excellent, fruitful ties between Rabat and Kuwait, saying his country is ready to examine means to open up new prospects of cooperation, mainly in the economic sphere. Ahmed Rashed Al-Haroun also met Economy and Finance Minister Salaheddine Mezouar. He highlighted, in a statement to the press at the end of the meeting, the Kuwaiti institutions'''' contributions to Morocco''''s large-scale projects, which amounted to more than 1.20 billion. Later in the day, the Kuwaiti official met Tourism Minister Yassir Zenagui to explore means to promote investments. The two countries signed, in 2002, a cooperation agreement in the area of tourism.
