"Digital hearing aid, cochlear implant, and electronic voice transmission systems made education and re-education easier for deaf children and allowed them a better integration in schools," he added. Bouayad announced the launch of works to build a new centre in Rabat, the first of its kind in Morocco, benefiting deaf youth. He said this new facility is meant to be a center for social solidarity, as it will allow the students of the foundation to have access to primary studies up to high school and will provide vocational training. The 200 students of the foundation took part during the school year in the 8th festival of children with special needs in Casablanca and the 40th anniversary of the Earth Day in addition to their participation in the children's parliament, he said. Princess lalla Asmaa handed awards and hearing aids to the foundation's students and visited an exhibition by deaf children. MAP
