Morocco shares values with EU, says EU diplomat

Tangier - Morocco shares most values with the European Union and has the
strongest relations with the European grouping in the Mediterranean region, the
head of the European Union delegation in Rabat, ambassador Eneko Landaburu said
Wednesday in Tangier
Speaking during a meeting on Morocco-EU relations organized by the French
Chamber of commerce and industry in the Kingdom, Landaburu underlined that the
two sides share common values related to establishing the rule of law and
promoting a modern, open and united society.
He also said that the Moroccan-EU cooperation is cemented by solid, longstanding
economic, historic and cultural links, adding that the advanced status that the
EU granted to Morocco illustrates the strength of their bilateral relations and
dialogue.
