Rabat - Equatorial Guinea's Foreign Minister, Pastor Micha Ondo Bilé, commended on Thursday the "excellent" relations between his country and Morocco "Our bilateral relations are excellent and extremely good", he said in a statement to the press following a meeting with Moroccan Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri.
He said the talks turned on the 5th Moroccan-Equatorial Guinean Joint Commission which took place last April in Rabat and during which several issues related to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation had been examined.
The two countries had signed a number of agreements aimed at giving momentum to bilateral cooperation.
These agreements touched on cooperation in the fields of sports and youth as well as social issues and women's empowerment.
The two sides had also signed a memorandum of understanding on industrial cooperation and an agreement on cooperation on national education and scientific research.
