Rabat - The Morocco-EU Joint Parliamentary Committee strongly denounced, on Tuesday, the terrorist attack which hit a café in Marrakech on April 28

The members of the Committee expressed their in the strongest terms their condemnation of the terrorist attack on Marrakech, which left 17 dead and several others injured, the Committee said in a statement issued following a press conference on Tuesday in Rabat.

This terrorist act came at a time Morocco is accelerating the pace of its political reforms which may serve as a model for the entire region, says the statement.

Marrakech attack will only “ reinforce our commitment to forge ahead with the project of bringing Moroccans and Europeans closer,” the same source adds.
