Casablanca - Morocco and South Korean company "Jusung Engineering" signed, on Monday in Casablanca, a partnership agreement on the electronics industry

The agreement was inked by Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies Ahmed Réda Chami and chairman of the said company Hwang Chul-Joo, in the presence of South Korean ambassador in Rabat Choï Jaï-Chul.

The agreement, preceding the implementation agreement which gives details on the project's technical, economic and financial methods, is related to the development of eletronics and innovative technologies in the Kingdom.

It seeks to turn Morocco into a regional hub for the company's future manufacturing and marketing activities, and establish a collaboration program between the Ministry and the company which specializes in OLED (organic light emitting diode).

OLED is a light-emitting diode in which the emissive electroluminescent layer is a film of organic compounds which emit light in response to an electric current.
