Rabat - Several hundreds of people took to the streets of Rabat on Sunday to voice political, economic and social claims, following the call of Facebook movement February 20, backed by some NGOs

The marchers chanted slogans calling for accelerating the pace of reforms, improving the citizens' living conditions, urging the government to take urgent measures in order to adhere to the reforms initiated by HM King Mohammed VI.

The demonstrators also were carrying placards and banners demanding notably respect for dignity, equality and social justice and end of corruption and opportunism.

The Rabat March went off without incident and protestors showed a great sense of responsibility. Police stayed away from the marches and demonstrations.
