Rabat - Raja Casablanca soccer team secured on Saturday the 2008-2009 title of Morocco''s Premier League (GNF-1) after thrashing Chebab Mohammedia (1-0)

    Omar Najdi scored the goal of victory for the green team in the 42nd minute. This is the ninth title for Raja Casablanca after holding those of 1988, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2004.

    With 57 points (16 victories, 10 draws and 3 defeats) the team is ahead 7 points of league title rival Difâa Jadida.

    Difâa Jadida, Wydad Casablanca and FAR Rabat will now have to compete for the 2nd position.
