"State of the Internet Report" ranks Tunisia among top 10 African countries in matters of internet connection

TUNIS, Feb. 22, 2010 (TAP)- The "State of the Internet Report" issued by the US " Akamai Technology" company

TUNIS, Feb. 22, 2010 (TAP)- The "State of the Internet Report" issued by the US " Akamai Technology" company ranked Tunisia among the top 10 African countries in matters of connection to the internet (connection speed, penetration rate over 5 megabytes and connections of over 2 megabytes).

This report ranked the city of Tunis second in the African continent behind Morocco's city of Rabat as regards connection speed, and in the top 10 regarding the penetration rate of over 5 megabytes, holding the 7th rank with cities like Rabat, Casablanca, Midrand, Johannesburg, Captown and Niamey.
